Field Work: According to the scope of work two sampling boreholes and SPT boreholes were drilled each  30 meters deep below mud line. Undisturbed samples with Shelby by continuous coring method were obtained. One CPTu borehole with 10m depth (until refusal) is considered to be drilled.

Laboratory Services: Determination of soil classification, Atterberg limits, particle size distribution, moisture content, bulk density, consolidation test, confined compression test, unconsolidated undrained triaxial, consolidated undrained triaxial, carbonate content, etc.

Seismic Hazard Analysis: Determination of Seismicity Parameters, Risks of Landslides, maximum Ground Acceleration, etc.

 Flood control studies: Calculation of Flood Volume, specified Flood Zoning, Design of Flood Control System, etc.

Field work: This Project consists of 12 exploratory boreholes to the maximum depth of 3 meters below the natural ground level with 10 to 30 meters depth. The boreholes were drilled by wash boring method and throughout the operation core and disturbed samples were obtained. SPT, Down hole and also Electrical resistivity tests have done.

Laboratory Services: determination of physical and mechanical properties of the soil layers, classification and shear strength tests, Water content, unit weight, Atterberg limits, particle size distribution, particle density, Strength testing, Un-confined compression test (UCT) and unconsolidated undrained (UU) triaxial, Chlorine Content (Soil and Water), Sulphates Content (Soil and Water), , PH (Smoil and Water) and etc.

Outcome: Final report includes Determination of the type and thickness of soil layers, physical and mechanical properties, Study the liquefaction, swell or collapse potential of soil layers. Determination of dynamic properties, allowable soil pressure and estimation of settlement of shallow foundations, modulus of sub grade reaction, lateral soil pressure and soil-concrete friction coefficient, allowable slope of excavations, type of cement to be used in concreting foundations, soil permeability, earthquake coefficients according to 2800 code and technical suggestions and recommendations with respect to construction operations.

Project of Naft-sanginGheshm Refinery (Gheshm Crude Oil  Refinery) is located at Northern territory of Qeshm Island with total area of almost 30 hectare. In this project, several facilities such as tank farm, structure of process plant, Non-industrial buildings and port such as deck and berth for Ingredients intake and petroleum products have been considered.
